Will one (or Several) of you folks explain how you do triplets. And if you have some favorite triplet patterns that you do. Will you share them With us?
Thanks
Creep

After listening to your MP3's you should be showing us how to do triplets!!!! One that comes to mind is Jerry Douglas's Fireball Mail from the The Great Dobro Sessions triplet at 2:27. Hammer on Pull off 1st string 2nd fret to open 2nd string leading into the D.

Check it out.

That is a fine band you have behind ya. That is a band and not BinAB, right? I like what you're doing. What is it you need to know about triplets. Sounds to me like you go it going on.

Just to point out - a triplet is a rhythmic pattern - playing a triplet can mean different things to different people.

What is important is to get the feeling of 1 - and - a - 2 - and - a etc

Thanks to your post Creep I found all of the other members Media Archive post. I kept trying to find your post that everyone was talking about hearing how good you played that I stumbled into the music search in the archive dept. I had never seen it as I was looking for newest music post. Anyway I sent you a reply on your 2009 music post and wanted you to know that us new members just starting would like you to post some more. Great work on your smooth playing and your great band.

If it's Douglas' style triplets you're after I would add a couple of thoughts to this thread:

It's all too easy to overlook the importance of clean right hand technique in playing triplets. Right hand fingering sequence can make a big difference; it's important to balance out your right hand, alternating between thumb (downstrokes) and fingers (upstrokes) to get the right "flow" of notes, especially if they come in a flurry of multiple triplets.

My two cents worth!
