Another good one Lee! I always enjoy your style.
Grizz -- I beat you to it. I downloaded all Lee's songs a while back and burned them to a CD so I could listen in the car. Now I'll have to do another one cuz he's added acouple new ones since then.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm finding I enjoy this music made by semi-professionals (and pure amatuers) much more than the often over mixed over dubbed and just generally overdone music played on the national media these days. It's music done strictly for the love of music and it shows!

Hear, hear!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't agree with you more. This is not about the money it's about the love of the Music and I think that should be what it is all about. IMO these instruments should NEVER be anything but Mic'd. I always enjoyed the "Unplugged" series on VH1. Not that i don't love electric guitar, I do, but they are meant for that. One more thing you won't find any more of that than on THIS site. Mike Lee, I'm gonna try it on the Coyotes, but they'll probably just start dancin' and I'll never get rid of em'. Course if they come here to dance I could introduce them to ol Betsy.

Don't get me wrong -- I love the sound of a good electric steel guitar and I (try) to play a lap steel as well as reso. I just like the idea of everyone being in one room, playing at the same time with a minimum of manipulation of the music after the fact.

Yeah, hearing so-called amatuers is very encouraging to us real amatuers...lol....Seriously, this is the best "music" anything forum on the entire web. Great mixture of pros, semi-pros, and the rest of us. "Four In The Morning is a great example of music that inspires me to keep working on slides and pick-up notes and just playing along with my own recordings. .......And whatever happened to all that great music from years ago? Sad.
