Morning everyone! Does anyone know of a cd of more traditional(old time) dobro picking with very little or no backup music? Thanks- Loy

Josh Graves "World Famous Dobro" and Ozwald Kirby "Brother Oswald" come to mind right now, there are others as well.

They are available on Amazon and so is "Great Dobro Sessions", that I would also recommend. Stacy Phillips also did a book of tabs for Great Dobro Sessions that should be on Amazon as well. I have no connection with Amazon.com other than spending to much money there.

Check out "Brother Oswald" Rounder 0013. As Dean mentioned above. All old time Dobro. In my opinion the best Dobro album of that style ever recorded.
