Phil, please list the woods top to bottom. I want to see how close I am. Also on the 5th picture there is the peg head part of (I believe I'm right on this one) a Martin Gross strap. He sent me some pictures of Brenda's anniversary present (a strap) and I noticed the leather where the quick connect attaches is the same as the one he is making for me and it is a different color (light tan). i sent him an e-mail because I was curious as to what the reason was for it. Maybe you can enlighten me.

From Top to Bottom they are: Curly Maple, African Mahogany, Flamed Koa, Curly Mahogany, Flamed Walnut, and Curly Koa. The reason for the lighter colored leather on my Gross strap was because it matches where the two colors meet as far as I know. I just know it looks right and it looks great. Thanks, Phil

I got 3 out of 6 and one I already knew. soooooooo the verdict is I SUCK at this. 
I guess I'll have to practice more.
