I just found out that I missed a nearby Bluegrass festival and workshop with Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper, Claire Lynch Band, Blue Highway, Sierra Hull and Highway 111, and Cody Shuler and Pine Mountain Railroad. They even had Rob Ikes doing a dobro workshop! What is awful is that I live in Juneau, AK with most BG festivals a long way away. The Kulane Mountain Bluegrass Festival is in Haines Junction, Yukon. That is only about a 2 hour drive from Haines, AK and damn close to me. I had never heard of this festival. but, you can bet I will be there next year!
