Hiya everyone

Here's a video for anyone interested in vintage instruments,, had the camera out over the weekend and filmed a short video ..with musician friend of mine who is currently restoring a 1940's New Zealand made Lap Steel for me.. This is the second, Garret already has one that he previously restoored.. And they are beauties ,, real back shed ingenuity crafted to the art deco style of the time..

This was back in the days when import restrictions meant we didn't get Gibsons and Fenders down under , almost everything hand made including the cover plates, hand wound coils right down to the whitworth bolt pickup poles ,, and the Art Deco styling is so cool

As for the Video ... we call ourselves the Baker Boys....A.K.A the Dough Bro's ....
