Anyone know anything about a dobro player name Charlie Beverly. I have an old lp album I bought around 30 years ago I really like but have never seen any thing else by him.

I was in a dobro contest with him in about 1975 at Joe Meadows' festival contest at Flat Top,WV.I believe he was from Pound,VA and a good picker as I remember(can't recall who took first.I took second,Charlie took third)

Ebay has a couple of his LP's at the moment. Looks pretty traditional ! He might have played Bev King's
"Dobro contest on tape" back in the '70s. I'd have to check my archives. Jim
