Sound

It has a full and loud sound. I have played several and it has an open sound similar to the Scheerhorn I played but at a much better price.

It was well set up before I bought it. The person I bought it from said it was shipped in tune and recieved in tune.

Appearance

It is a birch back and sides with a maple top. My daughter and my bass players wife liked it because it looked shiny and new. So a gloss finish.mother of pearl dot inlays, abs level frets, Walnut fretboard. just a beautiful guitar

Overall Comments

I got this reso at a very good price which I won't reveal since a very good friend sold it to me. It was well worth it. It is made in the US which in these economic times is helpful. If it was stolen I would definitely buy another. It sounds great and looks great. I will also consider Jim to build me a custom solid wood reso in the near future.
