<itunes:summary>My arrangement of St. Anne&#39s Reel. I recorded all the instruments on an old Type II ADAT and pulled the tracks into a computer for editing. There are definitely flaws in my recording (bar rattle, pitch, etc) but overall it didn&#39t come out too bad. I have been playing Reso a little over 2 1/2 years now so thought I would finally post something here.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>I&#39ve been working on this since I heard Troy&#39s version of The Water Is Wide and then heard Greg Booth play a version in this tuning with the dropped E on the low string. It makes for some very pretty chords and I thought this song would be a great one to try this tuning on. It always reminds me of the sound track to an old western movie. Hope you enjoy.

<itunes:summary>I have been working on a new tune (for me) and some new techniques and decided to play around with recording it. There is a timing glitch (mine, not the equipment) in the tune but I got lazy and didn't re-record it. I hope you enjoy this little clip.

I sincerely welcome constructive criticism. I know there are bar rattles and some timing issues but would love to hear your comments. I am still pretty new at Reso and learn from your input.

For those interested in the recording process. I played a Fishook maple L-Body Reso and a 1977 Mossman Timber Creek guitar. The Reso was recorded using an Octava MK012 and a Cascade large diaphram mic. Both pointing roughly between the neck joint and the edge of the cover. The guitar was recorded using the MK012. All were run through an aging Mackie 1604VLZ and Alesis Type II ADAT. I copied the tracks through an ADAT light pipe connection into an RME digital card and edited using Sony Vegas and Sound Forge.</itunes:summary>
