For Sale or Trade: DR Z MAZ 38 Senior Amp and 212 Z BEST Speaker Cab (PRICE REDUCED) - $1,499 USD

Lightly used 2005 DR Z MAX 38 watt amp with reverb and 4 ohm 212 Theil ported ZBest cab loaded with one Vintage 30 Celestion and one G12H30 Celestion. This set is in Blond with oxblood grill cloth. It is in excellent all original condition. I bought this setup when I was playing in a band and shortly after I bought the amp the band broke up. It has been under cover for the last few years and I have no need for this set up now. It comes with custom heavy grade covers and a high quality amp to speaker cord and ready to take to the gig. It really is a very versatile tube amp with killer tones and huge volume and headroom. Check out the Dr Z website for any all info. I would like to sell this as a set but would consider breaking it up. I am about an hour south of Nashville for looking or shipping purposes. The new retail price for a set up like this is over $2700. Price reduced to $1499 plus any shipping costs. I would also be open to a trade up or down for a quality hand crafted square neck dobro such as Harlow, Meredith, Scheerhorn, Fishook, ect.??? Let me know what you got and lets get together. This is a great amp.

For Trade: FT Springfield Armory Custom Shop Bullseye Wadcutter .45ACP

Eric has approved this ad, so don't flood his inbox with reports. Thanks.

I have a Springfield Armory Custom Shop Bullseye Wadcutter .45ACP NRA/Olympic style competition pistol that I would like to trade for a nice used square-neck resonator with a decent pickup and pre-amp. The pistol has a Novak bull barrel, hand fitted along with hand fitted bushing, beautiful checkered wood grips, hand checked front and back straps, an integral scope mount on the frame, and a high-end Red Dot scope with four MOA's and a dozen relative intensities. Gun is bench tested and guaranteed to hold the ten ring at 50 yards. This gun was tested at the factory, and fired a dozen times after purchase to rough in the Red Dot. If you would like a competition 1911 handgun of the highest caliber :) or an un-Godly accurate home protection device, this could be your ticket.

I would like a nice quality wood-body resonator of similar value ($2000 - $3000) with a working pickup and (preferably internal) pre-amp in a hard case (pistol was not sold with a hard case but I will include a padded case). Tell me what you have!! Can you play a few notes and save it on the hangout? Of course we'll exchange pictures if things get serious.

This is the legal stuff that keeps Eric and The Reso Hangout out of the doghouse. This is a private offering for a private firearms transaction between two adult private citizens. All Federal and State firearms laws apply. Once we agree on the transaction, you must provide me with a signed copy of your local dealer's Federal Firearms License, and a copy of your photo id showing that you are 21 years old, or older. Once that is received, I will ship the pistol overnight (carrier requirement for loss prevention) to the name and address on the FFL you provided. The licensed dealer will complete a few forms, do the instant background check, and start the clock on the waiting period (If you have one... as a concealed firearms license holder in GA I have no waiting period). If something in your background prohibits you from owninf a firearm, your chosen dealer will return the pistol to me at my expense. Once the dealer determines that the transfer will take place, you will safely package and ship the guitar to me using a mode that provides a tracking number. Once you provide that number to me and your FFL he may release the pistol to you. Overnight shipping will cost me $60-$100, so spending a few dollars to pack and ship the guitar is about a wash.

Notice to Georgia residents. None of these rules apply to a face to face exchange between two adult citizens of the State of Georgia. We'll just meet half way between Savannah and wherever you are, examine the goods, shake hands, and walk away.

I have sold my extensive firearms collection primarily on Gunbroker.com where I have a pristine, 100% positive, record. My user name there is RowePhoto. Feel free to check up on me.

I will make a $50 contribution to the hangout after the transaction is done, for bringing us together. Hopefully you will do the same.

Surely someone needs a fine pistol more that they need that dusty old 4th or 5th square neck standing in the corner of their bedroom!

For Sale: Gibson lap steel-7 string conversion - $400 USD

This is a 1946 Gibson BR-3, or BR-4, depending on who you talk to. The finish has been stripped off, and the Honduran mahogany 1 piece body looks great. Pretty much the only original hardware are the volume knob and the plastic pickup surround. The pickup is a Jerry Wallace TrueTone that was custom made for this guitar. The peghead was filled and redrilled for mandolin tuners on the treble side, and thye bridge and nut were altered at a machine shop. This isn't a collector's item, but it is a great sounding, professional grade 7 string steel. Comes with a semi-HSC. Asking $400 plus shipping

I recently took this nice guitar in as a trade-in for one of our own RedLine Acoustic guitars. I don' usually do trades, but this was for a friend. Here's the scoop on the guitar...

Gently used Blueridge BR-140 acoustic guitar. Mahogany back, sides, and neck, spruce top. I will put a fresh set of strings on it before sending it out. A harshell case is included. Maybe a small ding or two on this guitar, but overall very presentable. Has nice tone and volume, a great deal on a dread at a very affordable price!

For Sale: Gently Used RedLine RL-45 Guitar, Great Price!!! - $1,950 USD

Here we have a (barely) used RedLine RL-45 Acoustic Guitar for sale. It was built just late last year, so it is almost new. The original owner returned this guitar to repair a ding in the back. It has been professionally repaired, and is hardly noticeable, if at all. The original owner decided it is just too much guitar for him. Is it too much guitar for you...? If not, you are in for a real treat, at a very reasonable price.

Some specs on this fine American built guitar: Honduran Mahogany back, sides, and neck. Carpathian Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood fretboard, bridge, and peghead overlay, Grover #305C 18:1 ratio tuners, 24 3/4" fret scale, adjustable truss rod, mother of pearl dots in fretboard, cow bone nut and saddle. Hardshell case included.

This guitar has a big, full, rich, and pleasing sound, and it plays like a dream. The current retail price on this model guitar is $2895. We are considering letting this one go for $1950. Better get in touch with us before we change our mind...!

For Sale: Bluestem Lap Steel Guitar Bundle - $650 USD

I am selling my 2009 Bluestem lap steel guitar. This guitar was made by Randy Cordle of Sodorus, Illinois, in March-April 2009, and I received it at the end of April. It has all the basic features that Randy includes on his guitars, plus several extras that I asked for at an extra cost. It has a solid maple body with a three-piece flamed maple top cap which has a thin ebony strip running through the center. The flamed maple/ebony top cap was one of the extras, as well as the Planet Waves Auto-Trim tuners and a side-mounted 1/4" input jack. Other features include an ebony fingerboard and peghead overlay with the Bluestem mother-of-pearl logo, hand polished brass nut and bridge, Randy's hand wound, split single-coil pickup, black custom pickguard, slotted diamond mother-of-pearl position markers, and I had Randy install a tone control at an added cost. I also had Randy dye the guitar a deep red color, which really brings out the flame maple figure in the top. Randy's pickup gives the guitar a really clear, warm tone that reminds me of the classic lap steel tone heard on older country music records. I really like this guitar, but I just don't give it the attention it deserves, so I'd like it to find a home where it gets played to its full potential. I believe Randy's base price for a basic guitar is $400, but with all the extras, I paid $625 for this one. I've added Randy's website address to compare his standard guitars with this custom made one.

Along with the lap steel, I am selling three other major items: the gig bag I bought for it, 12 packs of GHS lap steel strings, and a small Marshall amp. It's a 1/2 size guitar Strunal (made by TKL) gig bag with "backpack" straps and a large front pocket and it fits the Bluestem perfectly. I paid $34 for the bag.

The amp is a Marshall MG-15 CD series 15 watt amp. It has the overdrive feature, which sounds really great when the Bluestem is played through it. It's great for that blues and rock feel. However, when played clean, it really lets the guitar's natural tone shine through. You can also plug your CD player or stereo into it and play your CDs through to play along with. I'm also including the 6' Neutrik instrument cable with the sale of the amp. I bought the amp on sale for $100 and the cable for $10.

The strings are GHS lap steel strings. Six of the packs are the GLSE Lap Steel E-Tuning set (which I bought from Elderly Instruments). These six packs cost $24 for all. The other six packs are the GLSG Lap Steel G-Tuning set (that I also bought from Elderly). These were $24.60 for the six. I'm asking $40 for all 12 if bought separately.

For the entire bundle, I am asking $650. However, I am willing to split up the bundle if need be. If I were to split it up, the gig bag would have to go with the lap steel and I am asking $600 for that package. The Marshall amp and cable would go for $75. I'd prefer the strings would also go with the lap steel, but like I said, I would sell them for $40 separately. For the guitar, strings, and gig bag, I would ask $620.

Thanks for any interest.

Art and Lutherie is a Canadian independent maker owned by Seagull/Godin. Beautiful deep orange color with mild sunburst. Gorgeous full woody sound when played acoustic or electric due to one-piece Canadian spruce top. Active pickups. Buttery smooth low action. A few minor dings and pick scratches from the natural wear of being a reliable instrument. Only the battery cover is missing where the 9volt is inserted, but it is a snug fit so it won't fall out...an easily replaced part too. The output jack is in excellent working condition, but could be tightened from the inside just a hair...would do it myself before shipping but my chubby arms are too fat to reach far enough down inside the soundhole...very quick fix for someone a few LBS lighter than myself... This is a superb chance for a student to have a nice guitar to learn on or the experienced player to have a good backup. Great for flatpick/fingerpicking. Don't miss this, going for less than half of retail (new $450-500)!

She has been good to me, I just really need some money for bills.
