For Sale: Crafters TT California Square Neck - $900 USD

Very nice Crafters Tut Taylor California. Walnut. New Grover Deluxe tuners, cone (Beard, I think), #14 bridge, ebony/maple inserts. Great sound. Formerly owned by a professional. The only blemish is near the 3rd string tuner where I whacked it with the drill installing the new tuners (see photo). One unnoticeable mark on the bottom edge of the neck. HSC. Financial problems force the sale of this fine instrument.

I might consider reasonable offers.

For Sale or Trade: Beard Road-O-Phonic of PBSM or Wechter - $995 USD

I've got a beautiful Beard Road-O-Phonic. I'm looking to trade for a nice full sized resonator, ideally with a pickup built in. I'd really like a Wechter Scheerhorn or Goldtone PBSM, but open to other interesting trades. If I sell it outright it'll just be to purchase another reso.

The Road-O-Phonic is pretty much in mint condition: sounds and plays just fantastic. Small enough to take anywhere, sounds amazing acoustically or plugged in. I understand it's got a fender lace sensor pickup as well as a Fishman resonator pickup. With a TRS cable, you can split these two, but if you just plug in a regular guitar cable you get the acoustic reso pickup. That's how I've used it and man does it sing.

There's one super small, almost invisible ding. I tried to take a photo of it, but it's really tough to see. I can email you a close up if you'd like. Otherwise it's flawless, and you gotta love that quilt and flame! Photos are from my phone and don't do it justice. I don't have a case for it, but you can get one from Beard or a Gibson padded gigbag works great too. Feel free to email with any questions or if you want specific photos taken.

For Sale: Wechter Scheerhorn Elite 9520 Price Reduced - $1,750 USD

Wechter Scheerhorn Elite 9520 w/ Schertler Basik pickup. Custom built, USA made, Solid Wood Guitar.

Flamed Maple with a Cremona finish. Sound post baffle guitar.

The sound is loud, punchy, and very comparable to a Scheerhorn R-Body.

This guitar has a few customized upgrades that the standard 9520’s didn’t.
1). Wechter Scheerhorn logo was left off the headstock. I photographed the serial # info sticker inside the guitar though as verification
2) Grover locking tuners
3) Actual frets instead of the maple-insert fret markers that are standard on all W/S guitars.
4) Beard Adjustable #14 Spider Bridge (which I added recently)
5) the fret inlays are more elaborate than the simple “dot” inlays which are default on W/S imports and the 9520’s and 9530’s
6) Schertler pu.
7) Quarterman cone
8) Ebony fretboard

There were not very many of these made, and they rarely come up for sale. This one is in great condition. It has its share of bar dings, finish scratches, and scuffs from having been played several years on the road. The most noticeable blemish is photographed—it’s a small finish chip
but it's not deep, and is just a small chip--no crack or anything (see photo comparison with dime). The coverplate has some visible wear on it. Other than some cosmetic wear, all is well structurally. Original hardshell case is included. The case has a bit of wear too—blemishes and such, but it’s structurally fine and works great. I would like $1750 for this guitar. At that price I can ship it to you. Thanks.
For Sale: Lowered Price Meredith Brazillian/Spruce Resonator #63 - $3,575 USD

Meredith BR/Spruce Resonator #63

This has been one of my favorites instruments. It's had lots of play time, it has scraches and tiny ding's that played instruments get over time. It also has very thin cracks in the rosewood (BR) - read more below. It's a really great sounding reso, and is gorgeous. It is the sweetest sounding reso I've owned. I have really enjoyed how the sound resonates. It's very lively. It is also one of the lightest reso's I picked up.

If interested in how it sounds, please check out the recording I did on Little Martha. http://www.reso-nation.org/audio/will-andrew/little-martha-allman-brothers

It has BR back and sides. The top is Engelmann Spruce. The sides and back have some thin hair-line cracks. See photo of the back. I bought it with full knowlege of these hair-line cracks. They may be surface or finish cracks. The hair-line cracks have not gotten any bigger and I've never given much thought to them after purchasing it. I consider them cosmetic and don't notice them. They are very hard to see in the side photo, but you can see the one in the photo of the back. I shone a bright flashlight inside the reso in a pitch black dark room and could not see any light coming thru. So perhaps the hair-line cracks are just on the surface.

I spoke with Tooter Meredith. He told me to build a reso similar to mine, would be around $6500-$6800. Upgrading standard pricing to BR is $2000+, KOA binding add $200, Engelman top add $150, Waverlys add $250, Gold hardware I forgot to write down , Herringbone add $65.

I also asked him the cost to make her like new with a total refinish would be $600-$800. A partial to hide the surface cracks about $300-$400. Personally, I see no need. This is a gorgeous instrument.

Please call Tooter if you have any questions regarding reso work (256)247 – 5793

The case I had for this Meredith Brazillian Reso is no longer available. I only have a broken Travelite case which is suitable for shipping. The zipper and hinges are shot, but is lighter and better for shipping.

The hardware is gold plated. Tuners are gold plated waverly's.

I'm a player not an instrument dealer, so I will not deal with trials or trades nor returns. Sale is final. To all serious inquiries I will answer questions and supply additional photos on request to make sure this is the right ax for you.

I have reduced price from $5250 to $3575 plus Fedex, shipping insurance and paypal fees (2.9%). You'll need a verified paypal account of which you pay the transaction fee of 2.9%. I believe you can get around the fee by making the payment "personal" and as "payment owed". Or a certified bank check with enough time to clear.

For Sale: For sale: Redline Rambler Peabody/Hemi - $1,750 USD

I've listed the guitar in excellent condition only because of a few very minor pick scratches on the coverplate and a small nick on the side,on the upper bout a couple of inches from where the neck attaches to the body. It's about the size of a bb. It is through the finsh but not into the wood.barely noticeable. Otherwise the guitar is mint.I'm selling because i have 2 redlines. This one and a rambler deluxe R body. Love them both but prefer playing the r body, so this one is not being played that much.Photos are on my homepage and if you would like to here it listen to Blackberry Blossom, Sweet Georgia Brown, and Just a fantasy in my music archive. ( my homepage). If interested you can call me at 864-901-9560 or email at kimulinger@yahoo.com,or send me a pm through this sight. This guitar has very nice tone with a deep low end and balaced all the way up and PLENTY of volume. about 1 year old....Thanks for looking.

For Sale or Trade: National Style 1 Tricone with Highlander Pickup - €1,500 EUR ($1,991.10 USD)

I want to sell my National Style 1 Tricone with the Highlander M1 Magnophonic Pickup because I want to get a squareneck resonator guitar instead, that's why a trade is possible as well. Look at the pictures to find out why this one is rather cheap: my guitar stand overturned with the guitar on it resulting in the massive heel crack you can see. I took it to a luthier who was able to repair the damage using mahogany dowels. The visible crack in the finish is owed to putting on .016 strings on the guitar. I've used .013s since then and everything is working out fine. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions!

I've decided to offer my Frugalhorn for sale in order to raise some funds for my custom reso build project. I bought it back in the spring and it is an incredible guitar. It was set up by Tim Scheerhorn in 2007 and he also installed the Schertler Basik pickup. I do not have the pre amp for it but I have played it with one and it sounds great. Comes with the original hardshell case.

Johnson Metal Body Reso Guitar W/ Custom Round Neck

I bought this reso guitar from Elderly. It had a broken peg head. I replaced the neck using a neck blank from Bryan England's Custom Inlay Shop. The neck is maple with a walnut layer up the middle. You can see my build log on the Building Forum.
Finger board and peg head are rosewood. I did all the inlays and binding.
It has the original Johnson cone and biscuit bridge. It might benefit from replacing the cone and bridge, but it sounds good the way it is for slide and finger style picking.
The finger board is flat.
Grover Sta-Tite tuners

Price does not include a case. I have a like new deluxe 00 size case that fits this guitar like a glove. $75 extra.
5 day approval period. If you hate it, I will take it back. You pay shipping both ways if you return it.
