For Sale: Floyd Jasper all Rosewood Resonator Guitar - $2,200.00

This is a wonderful reso. #056 2007. Definitely a banjo buster -- lots of volume. Sweet sounding but can growl when you want her to and made by one of the finest luthiers in the country. I hate to part with her but my "significant other" has mandated that in order to make room for my incoming Guernsey, I need to sell one of my other treasures:( This woman has no sense of humor:) She (the reso) comes with custom Cedar Creek hard case.

For Sale: 2008 Walnut B & B Resophonic Guitar - $2,400.00

I have for sale a Walnut B & B Resophonic Guitar that I completed in 2008. The guitar has the standard features of all my guitars. I built this reso for myself and used it on the road with The Rarely Herd, so it does show some playwear. The specs are as follows:

Solid Wood Construction (American Black Walnut)
Soundposts (no baffle or soundwell)
Square Neck
25" Scale
Quarterman Cone
Waverly Tuners
Bone Nut
"Lake Salvaged" Solid Maple Bridges

Shipping will be $40.00 if shipped in the contiguous 48 states or will be calculated for International shipping. This guitar has the same Limited Lifetime Warranty as all my B & B Resophonic Guitars...Any damage due to construction defects will be repaired by me free-of-charge providing that no repairs, alterations or tension screw adjustments have been made by the owner or any other repairperson, and if the damage has not been caused by lack of proper care (i.e. damage from low humidity, exposure to harsh environments, improper handling, neglect, etc.).

I will ask the buyer to sign a document giving me Right Of First Refusal. This document will state that, in the event that the buyer decides to sell the guitar, I will be given the first opportunity to buy (or opt not to buy) the instrument back at a price not to exceed this original selling price . (Full details/reasons upon inquiry.)

Contact me by email or telephone if you wish additional information and/or photos. Thanks very much.

For Sale: For sale:Sheerhorn R body #228 $5,500 - $5,500.00

For sale Sheerhorn R body mohagony w/spruce top stained to match. This was built in 1998 and has the number #228 on the inside. This is a loud reso with a rather traditional sound and I have received a lot of positive comments at jams and workshops. This guitar is a road warrior, has been played a lot and it shows. It is structurally in great shape and sounds absolutly great however, cosmesmetically,it shows years of playing. There is a ding on the headstock, nearly a dozen on the top and pitting on the top, left side, and bottom right. The photos don't show them and it's not a pretty new instrument.Included is the original tweed case. This is a great find for any Sheerhorn fan and won't last long. Please, serious inquires only and no trades accepted.Thank you.

For Sale: 1929 Dobro roundneck - $1,875.00

This is a 1929 Dobro roundneck serial #1347 bought new in Chicago by my mother in 1929. These early roundnecks could be played either as a conventional guitar or as a lap slide guitar. My mother and her sister did duets with their Dobros in lap slide guitar style until the mid 1930's. After that time, this guitar saw only intermittent use until the early 1960's when it was used at college by a brother of mine. My mother gave me this guitar to keep in the late 1970's. Since then it has seen only occasional use. Everything is original on this Dobro EXCEPT the case, tuners, & strings. The original case fell apart sometime in the1950's and a few of the tuner knobs were broken at some point during the 1960's. The tuners were replaced with common guitar tuners of the time and the replacement case is a fibre-board type. I do, however, have some of the parts from the original tuners (see picture). At one time there was a nut extension or conversion attachment that fit over the stationary nut to raise the string height above the fretboard for slide playing. This extension was unfortunately lost at some point. The original wood bridge is intact but may need to be replaced to optimize tone quality as the pressure from the strings has created grooves in the wood bridge over the past 80 years. The resonator, to the best of my knowledge, has never been removed. However, there is no pitting or rust visible. The chrome is clean and bright as seen in the pictures. There are no cracks, wood splits, or dents. The body and neck finish is original with some age-related checking and surface scratches from use.

Please contact me for any other information needed. If additional pictures are requested, please be specific about what you need to see.

** Note _ If interested in this Dobro, I would prefer this instrument not be shipped because, given its vintage, it would not likely be restorable to its original condition if damaged.

I'm selling my 2006 National Resophonic Delphi. $1400 obo

It's a wonderful guitar, made in California in '06. I bought it new in Seattle, and it has been my main guitar since. It has been well used, played on stages from Alaska to Arizona, New York to New Orleans, and on stage with many a great musician. It is black painted steel with rolled F-holes, maple neck, bound fretboard, slotted headstock, and loud and clear. It is in excellent playing condition. It comes with the original, well used hard shell case. There are some wear marks on the coverplate and on the edges of the guitar, and minor dings, but nothing major.

I’m selling my son’s Regal resophonic guitar. He decided doubling on this would take away from his mandolin practice, so, well, there you go. I’m not complaining! It’s a squareneck with a mahogany body and mahogany top. It has a minimal amount of tarnishing for a box with this much metal, but some of the metal is a little dull. I can’t find a scratch or nick on it. The case is a TKL archtop hardshell, and it’s also like new. I’m including the Cindy Cashdollar VHS video from Homespun and a new set of strings. I’m asking 320 plus shipping, but will consider offers—so don’t be shy. Will ship to the lower 48 only. If you need them, I'll give you a good price on accessories (steel, capo, etc.)
