Does anyone know why our real names have replaced our screen names? And our City and State show.?? I don't want my real name and address to show unless i choose. Way too much BS going on all over the internet and too damn easy for people to use this information. Before we had some privacy that this information was only for members if we so choose.. Please speak up. I changed my profile but we shouldn't have to.

Im new to the site and just sent a PM to another member as I am interested in buying his reso. I'm probably missing something really obvious but I can't figure out how to check my own mailbox? Told ya it was a stupid question.... What am I missing here?

howto upload a video

Hi!

How do I upload a video? I have a recording done with my iphone (.mov file) but I can't find out how to upload it here. Do I have to publish it first at youtube and then refer to that link?

Video glitch

When going to the video lessons section, at the bottom is says "View all lesson videos" When you click on it, it goes to ALL videos instead.

Photos Don't Appear Properly

When I click on a photo embedded in someone's post, I get the enlarged version for about one second, then it changes to show only one half of the photo, cut vertically, or I get only a narrow vertical slice of the photo.

Yeah, I'm using IE 9 but it works properly for photos everywhere else. I tried to copy and paste what I see but when pasted here it appears normal (here). So my clipboard gets the whole photo.

Any ideas for me?

Embedding Video

For some reason I am not able to embed video in a post on a thread. Here is what I was told to do by SN it worked for him but all I get is the syntax in the reply. No video. At the video on YouTube I choose "share" then "embed" and copy and paste the embed code into the reply. Nada. Now I'm no beginner but am a little stumped. There must be a reason that I am missing. We are both running FireFox and I did try the same procedure with IE. Now, to paste anything on a post I have to use the "paste" icon and keyboard strokes to cut or copy. Any ideas would be helpful. Guys- when you do a search for a member, how do you PM that member? When I click on the persons link all I ever get is "no profile found"

the pictures posted do not open in my browser, I only get the 'red X' . What settings do I need to change to allow them to show?

I read through these and they are total raves about computers, nothing about reso guitars, let alone music. Are these intended for another forum and here by mistake?

I clicked on the link to the homepage and got a locked page message.

Any ideas?
