More About Me
I began playing guitar in 1966, but very slowly at first and then later picked up speed, I had some lessons and learned how to read music slowly. I then began to teach guitar and In the 70's I started on lap steel but did not get real serious until around 1992 and added pedal steel and Dobro. I am a performing musician and have conducted some Dobro workshops and also attended some. I play a lot of old country, some swing and jazz, and folk. I teach scales and how to use them and how to play along with chord progressions beyond the 1,4,5, etc. A little theory and circle of fifths is very handy for both scales and chords. If interested in lessons from and you are in my area contact me at frppb@juno.com. I will give you further instructions via e-mail and see if we can get together.
