More About Me

My name is Dennis McBride. I've been playing dobro since about 1973. There were no such things as instructional books or videos when I learned to play. My most valuable resource was Mike Auldridge's first album; I consider Mike my teacher. I've been a guitar and bass player since 1965, but dobro has been my greatest joy to play. I teach at the Dallas Acoustic Music Camp each August. I've recorded with the Dixie Chicks when they were a local Dallas band.
