I really like this tune. I got the basics from Troy Brenningmeyer's version (you can hear his influence). I tried to add some of my own ideas. I have been working on it and recorded it to see what it sounded like. Seemed like it came out OK so decided to throw it out here on the hangout. Hope you enjoy my attempt at it.

Very, very, nice. One of my favorites. Roger Williams has a nice version of it on cd.

I can play Troy's version fairly well and I, too, would appreciate some tab or advice on how to make that sound on that great tune. Thanks,

Dean

Leegee, Dean,

Thanks for your nice comments! I appreciate it. I am no good at writing tab and I just play by ear and feel so not exactly sure how I play things sometimes. I did start out with Troy's version and played around until I found some things I liked. If you are interested, I could have my son videotape it and put it up here on the hangout. That way you could see what I am doing.

Hey Chuck (crh1), thanks for the comment. It was great seeing you and talking to you at ResoGat!

I received a few questions about the mic setup I used so below are a few pics. The mics are inexpensive ones. The small diphram mic is an Octava MK012 (good mic for the price) and a Cascade large diaphram mic. They are run into a Mackie board and into an RME sound card from there.

this is really beautiful, with so much feeling in your playing! Thanks for the inspiration (again and again - I need something like Reso hangout radio, it would basically run all day, LOL)
