I'd like to see a glossary on this site where things like a spider bridge, tri-cone, biscuit bridge etc. are described in detail and diagrammed. In other words; Reso anatomy 101. There is a lot of discussion about these things here, but it would be cool to it all laid out and explained in one spot. This is my first post here and I apologize for starting out wanting something.
Thanks,
Paul

No apology ever needed for a suggestion, good or bad. This sounds like a good one to me. Welcome.

That's a good idea Paul. I especially like the diagram part. Those who have been around resos for a while tend to try to collect one (or more) of everything, but I still heven't seen the insides of a post & baffle setup. I'd love to see a diagram, just out of curiosity. Perhaps color glossies with circles and arrows a la Alice's Restaurant (whoops, age showing)! Help, how do I put one of those smilely faces here?

Paul, first of all welcome. I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do. Nice, friendly fun loving people who are willing to go the extra mile the help. IMHO the best reso site on the net. That being said, I don't know if this will help or not I found it extremely interesting. acousticfingerstyle.com/Resona...ained.htm If there is more you want covered let me know and I will see what I have found. I have a lot of "stuff". Well I hope you enjoy it here and visit and post regularly.

You have to do "reply to topic" on top of the posts and not the "Quick Reply"

Thanks for all the friendly responses to my idea. Grizz; that link to acousticfingerstyle was really helpful and it sheds a lot of light on things. Maybe that page could become a link on this site. (Here I go asking for something again.)
