I had the Honor of purchasing the 2nd. Red Line Reso made. I saw it at SPBGMA and bought it the last day of the show , and it has surprized me everytime I have picked it up and played it !!!!
It is 4 inces deep , it has 2 tone rings, 6 sound post , solid Mahogany, Gold Hardware and it has gotten louder and deeper especially after Steve Smith (the builder) did some upgrades.
If you ever are around where I am, just ask to play it or if you get a chance to see or play one do it! you will be surprized...

Hi Bobby, here's a pic of the herd. They're all L bodies. Even though they're all constructed the same, they made from different woods and don't exactly sound the same.

Just got back from Summertown Tenn. BlueGrass Reunion Festival and was surrounded by Clinesmiths, Harlows,Old Dobro, 2 Merrideth, and my Redline Mahog Hung right in there with them ------ If you ever get a chance to hear or play a Red Line you will really be surprised
