Just saw the Martin Gross website and was VERY impressed by his playing. Every bit as good as Auldridge and with more string bending. Sure does give an old duffer like myself new direction and enthusiasm to learn new stuff. I do not learn very well by tablature, but rather by watching someone else demonstrating. Really do appreciate his method of showing both of his hands upon the instrument while playing a tune. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks, Matthewp

Greg Booth is really talented, but he plays everything like he's playing a pedal steel. Very obvious where his early training was.

Greg's pedal steel roots do come in pretty handy for his "chord" type tunes, and his vibrato is killer... but also check out the tunes in his jukebox on his site, some pretty awesome bluegrass type work there also. Check out his solo on "Hang Em High" ... about 2 minutes in ... also "Water Slide" and the other stuff. He's one of my new faves right now. I just love his approach and his tone is superb and his arrangements, outstanding.

I love Martins bends, and I find those are hard to do !!
Hey Mitch I got those Ickes DVDs those are pretty good. I think I need to get that scale chart too. Im really working hard on my hammer on's/off's. Hard getting used to not using my fingers
