It should be square neck, steel body, can be used and have some wear if it just playes and sounds good. Built in electronics should be good too. National or something in same range.
Florida area. (another home in Northern Europe). Please e-mail me : tonu.timm@gmail.com

Beard Guitars is a National dlr. Elderly has a National Polychrome Steel roundneck for $2085. Paul Beard told me at Wintergrass in Feb. that they could probably do better than that. Square necks can be ordered but take a bit of time to get them. Again, Beard can give you all the details. Give Beard a call, lay out your parameters and see what they have to say.

Is it really so hard to find roundneck National VS Tricone 'nowadays'?
Optimistically I'd like to purchase one with cutaway and with Highlander Magnophonic pickup installed on it. Not sure where to start, wrote some emails to National site and dealers, but got no any answer. Seems nobody wants my money. (my budget has grown up a bit as making good music makes more money) Where to ask. I am still in Florida area and looking for good new or used steel-reso.

I'm sure Elderly Music elderly.com has exactly what you're looking for, cutaway and all. You may have to ask them to install the pickup tho. Give them a call.

I am bit smarter now. Had a close look and touch of these new Nationals and wondered how different they sound. Two from three of Triolians sounded like chinese ones. Delta's where bit mor stabile. It means that even buyin new Nationals without seeing and playing (from Ebay for example) you never now what you get. I was stupid to hope that solid prized axes are more stabile. But I never played bad sounding old National Reso. Strange...
