I'm going to get a new case for my square neck reso guitar. Anyone tried this one? musiciansfriend.com/product/Tr...ku=541732

Interesting. I'll have to see if an L body Scheerhorn will fit.

My Phil Ledbetter came with one, it's a great case.

I have one and it works fine. Be aware that if your tuners are the kind that face upward (rather than out) you may have to push to get the case to close. It holds a Wechter Scheerhorn (model 6510F) or a Fullerton Winslow resonator guitar with no problems.

I hadn't thought of clearance issues. My resonator guitar is a hot rodded square neck Johnson. Not only do the keys stick up but the bone nut is about 9/16" high. It actually is higher than the highest tuners (1st and 6th) now I wonder if it would fit in these Travelites. I had it in an old shimmed dreadnought case.

If I can get to it, I'll try to post some photos of the case with various guitars in it to give you an idea whether your guitar will fit. (For the price, you might as well check it out yourself!)

That's OK Brad they raised the shipping deal cost so I ordered a Guardian hardshell locally with free shipping. Thanks for all of your help though.

I have a custom Mark Leaf I normally use, but I'll tell you, when I do jobs where I have to do a lot of walking, that thing is like carrying a couple of cinder blocks. It does come in handy for a seat though.

I'm not sure. I got mine locally at Real Guitar in Ft. Myers, FL. It is a hardshell tolex covered case. Very close demensions to a classic Dobro. It cleared my tuners that pont straight up from the sides just fine.
