Regarding this roundneck 6-string Sho-Bro:

Could I take out the spider bridge and cone and replace it with a biscuit cone and bridge?
Are there any reso techs in Phenix?

Darryl
The biscuit cone sits down into the body of the guitar a lot further than a spider cone. It would be possible but would take modification to the cone support ring inside guitar which could be a major undertaking. Doing such a change would surely destroy any potential value the instrument may have at some point.

Thanks D. L. I'm a newbie to resos, and my experience with other instruments doesn't prepare me for understanding reso mechanics. But it's interesting to learn, and I appreciate your help..
