Been listening to all the Mike Witcher videos of Beard's new line of Deco Phonics. Since I'm primarily a spider bridge player, checking out the differences in sound of the 37 and 57. Just for fun, listened to the model 47 biscuit squareneck. Man, that thing sounds good. Of course it's Mike, but still..Lots of appeal having that sound in a lap style squareneck guitar v. the more common roundneck slide since I'm more comfortable and used to playing lap style. Of course, now that's got me jonesing for one. Can't do it right now but maybe some day. Incidentally, I found the specs etc. for the squareneck model 47 but no price listed. Anybody know? Same as or less than the round neck model? Great value and great sound in this value priced line of Deco Phonics.

Gruhn's in Nashville has the Model 47 round neck advertised for $2100 USD.

The one listed at Gruhn has the Fishman p’ip which is why it’s $2100.
The guitar without the pickup goes for $1800.
I would love to have one myself to add to the stable. A nice sound that’s a change of pace from the typical spider bridge dobro.

Yeah, Beard has the roundneck model priced at $1800. I see that, but they don't show a price for the sqnk. there with all the specs etc.
In their other Deco models, the sqnk. is a couple hundred less. I don't suppose it matters anyhow. Can't make a purchase right now. Just thinking ahead, 'cause I'm sure this line will go up in cost as they gain popularity. Be nice to get in before that happens.

I pulled the $1800 without pickup price off Elderly and another store the name of which escapes me af the moment.
