While I was making an occasional visit to my semi-local huge warehouse store of used guitars , they set this out literally while I was in the store .
Console style 6 string steel guitar, with legs . Pink-ish MOTS , with black trim , with the original hard case . The electronics a little scratchy, probably need a good cleaning . The Mgr ( owner ? ) stated was from an estate from which they got five instruments .
It came home with me for $250 . Once again stores focused on rockers are clueless about " hillbilly " instruments .

So why can't I see the pictures?

Because I am computer illiterate, and can't do pictures .

Do you have photos of this guitar on your smart phone or your desktop computer? If so, I can walk you through the process.
The first thing to make sure of is that you are entering the post in Rich Text. You will see a blue rectangular button that reads Upload Photos near the bottom of your screen - click on it, this is where you begin.

I haven't yet taken a pic of it , but I'm sure I will soon .
I do have another unrelated reso related photo of intrest on my smart( -er than me) phone .
I am a severe Luddite , and the least computer knowledgeable person I know under 70 yr of age .
( I had bad experiences with Fortran in 1978 , and swore to never touch another computer . I eventually slightly relented since we're conversing on a forum . But I did keep my promise for 10 plus years , but my limits are basic forum-ing , and basic email . No clue about files or attatchments, or whatever .)

Fortran! I mention that at work when when making fun of myself for being old.
Anyway, I'm going to guess some sort of Valco/Supro made for a particular department store chain. Bu am staying tuned....

The Harlin Brothers were guitar innovators from Indianapolis. They also had a Steel/Hawaiian guitar school. Among steel players they are best known for the Multi-Kord, which was an early pedal steel. I had one a long time ago. Sweet sounding guitar. Here's a thread about them on the Steel Guitar Forum:

This appears to be a Multi Khord that was originally ordered w/o pedals .

I have never heard of a Multi-Kord w/o pedals. Have you looked under the cover on the right side of the guitar (assuming there is one since we don't have photos) to see if there is evidence of the changer mechanism? My guess is that the original pedals might have been removed.
Good link by Dan to The Steel Guitar Forum. I've been a member for about 14 years. There have been quite a few threads involving the Multi-Kord over the years - the forum began in 1997. Some of them are from the early 2000s and a number of the old-timers that posted about them are no longer with us.

The tuners are under the cover on the right . The mechanisms that would have been used by pedals are under the cover on the left .
Yes, I have periodically read the Steel Guitar Forum. I just have a mental block that I don't pay for websites .

Right - that would make sense about the mechanisms for the pedals, I had it bassackwards.
And on a side note - you're taking this "severe Luddite" thing to the extreme!
It costs 5 freaking dollars, one time only, for a lifetime membership to the Steel Guitar Forum. It costs me 8 dollars to drive across the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco.
Bobby Lee is the founder of the SGF, he lives 20 miles north of me here in Sonoma County. Started the forum I believe in 1997. Fine steel player and a heckuva nice guy. It's mainly a labor of love for him and he has done a great service in bringing steel guitar players and fans from all over the world to an online entity.
I think we're at ballpark 17,000 members. Everyone paid five bucks to join. That's a total of around $85,000. Sounds like a decent chunk of money - until you realize that it's spread over 21 years!
