Is there any easy way to include pics from my own home page on a post/comment I may make in one of my groups?

On your own page, right click on the picture you want to include and select copy image address. Back here using Rich Text you can select the picture icon, 3rd from the right, and paste it in the blue box labeled URL. The image is inserted into your post and you can move it around like text.

Thank you.

Jack, are you referring to posting a photo here on the regular forum page or in a "groups" post?

I remember something about Groups here on the hangout, though I might not be a member of any, and I don't even recall how to locate them here.  For example, I seem to recall there is a Josh Graves Group here.

Jack, what Greg suggests works here in the main forums where we have rich text as an option. The Groups just don't work that way as far as I can tell. I do not see the tools in the groups, like the Weissenborn Group, for including links or photos.

You can right click on one of your photos, select "copy image address" and then paste that into a Group post by using "ctrl V" But it does not create a live link.  A reader would have to cut and paste the whole address into a browser address line to see the image.

I also tried to copy one of your Weissenborn pics using "copy image" and then using "ctrl V" to paste it and that does not work.

So while there may be a way to do it through embedded HTML code, I don't know an easy way to to it.

What you have already done by referring to your Hangout media pages to see pics may be the best practice available in the Groups.  Your media pages are clickable by using your Hangout ID as a link to your Hangout account and then selecting "Media".  It's a couple of clicks but it works.  But it isn't as easy as posting on the main forum pages using Rich Text to show photos or links to videos.

Thanks, Dennis. I guess just referring to my homepage to see pics is the way to go. It would be nice to be able to include a pic within a post that you make in one of the groups though.
