Hi all,
I'm considering buying a resonator and I have to decide between two models. (Both in excellent condition)
I need your advice about the price of each.
The Amistar Style O would go fo 1250€ (around 1?380 USD), which I think is ok but still a bit too expensive. Should be around 1000€ (1105 USD) in my opinion...
The Estralita is from 1998 (previous to the Estralita Deluxe then) and would go for 1750€ (around 1935USD) but equipped with a Highlander pickup in the biscuit.
I know these two models (steel-bodied / wood-bodied) are different and i will try both but what do you guys think of the prices asked by the sellers?
Thanks a lot in advance for your answers!
Anto

Play them both, then buy the one you like best.
I don’t know where in Europe you are, but in general I cannot comment on the asking prices for instruments I haven’t seen nor heard.

I did what you said!
And it was easy as the Amistar needed a serious neck reset.
I bought the Estralita and I think it was a reasonable price considering the pick-up add and it was in mint condition! Incredible to see a 21-year guitar looking nearly new.
By the way I'm from Belgium and I live in northern France.
Bye

I’ve come across only a handful of Amistar guitars over the years and I like them, but you can’t go wrong with a used modern National, especially in mint condition.
If money grew on trees I’d likely have a half dozen Nationals crammed into my music room.

Thank you Brad!
Yeah, that's a bit what I thought MarkinSonna! Even resale-wise, I think NRP sell higher and easier.
Good evening
