Off and on for the last 6 months I've not logged into the Hangout for as long as five days and yet my alias stays locked in as being online.

I complained about this in an earlier post and emailed Eric about the problem but nothing's happened.

Logging out manually doesn't help. Makes me look like I live on this site and should be paying rent. Anybody have an answer? I'm out of options!

BTW...the compose/reply box remains open for the same period that I'm hibernating.

Which browser/OS combination are you using?

I’d try clearing your cookies for this site and see if that helps.

Clearing cookies seemed to have worked, Brad. My alias is gone from members online list. Hope it lasts.

Perfect response DB, thanks for the laugh. Who do you think the third BUCK should be. Just so happens my stage name here on the hangout is a tribute to 2 "BUCKS". The first being of course Uncle Josh "Buck" Graves. The second was a local Dobro player and radio personality here in Colorado named "BUCK" Buckner. He gave me my first opportunity to play a Dobro many years ago at a jam session. They've both since passed away but I still have tremendous respect for both. Thank's again for the laugh. Always wondered how you came up with your alias, Steve...ingenious!

Did some research and didn't find any other dobro players in history known as Buck except the two you mentioned. Although there are a few other Bucks connected with country music, none are connected to dobro.

I gonna' hafta' rescind my pay raise I gave 'ya and keep your alias Bucks to only Two.
