Yesterday on sign-in to this forum, I saw 6,245 lurkers listed as being on site. Fifteen minutes later the number jumped to 7,623!
This is the first time I've ever seen this large a number visiting this site.
My question is...was this a true number, an anomaly or due to atmospheric sun spot interference?

We're at the bottom of the sunspot cycle so I think we can rule out sunspots.
