After five years of owning my E model, one of the Hipshot locking tuners has gone bad. Evidently, the locking pin has developed some kind of tiny burr and breaks every string put into it.
Paul has sent me a complete set of 6 brand new locking tuners to replace mine at no charge...I offered to pay, but he refused. The man is all class and deserves every compliment he has gets.

Paul Beard and his colleagues at the Beard shop are first rate folks who make first rate guitars. I have been extremely impressed by the tone, volume, and the exceptional build quality of the Beard squareneck resonator guitars I have played. And the parts and accessories that I have ordered from Paul have all been great. Finally, I very much appreciate the time that Paul and his staff were willing to spend with me even when I was window shopping. Very nice folks.
