Here's a shot of the National I got today. It was ordered from Elderly Instruments for 2625 plus free shipping.
It's a style one brass bodied with a special black polychrome finish that Elderly ordered as a specialty finish. It has the clearest sound; rings like a brass body but has the tone of a steel bodied. I had to actually call Elderly to see if it was a brass body!
I’ll let it settle in and then give a review soon.
