I think Robbie and Ringo are a couple of the coolest cats that ever lived. Check this out.

I've always enjoyed the Playing for Change arrangements, with musicians from all over the world. Nice to have something to smile about for a change (pun intended).
Note Larkin Poe has a part in this video, beginning at 1:00. Megan's been playing lap steel and taking names, but she's also a helluva dobro player!

I have been a supporter of PFC for many years now. Kudos to Mark Johnson, all the participants and crew for what they have accomplished.
If you like the PFC version of "The Weight" you may enjoy seeing a little bit about how it came together. There are two "behind the scenes" videos from PFC. The first one is a higher level overview from Mark Johnson. The second is a deeper dive with many of the participants but particularly with the producer, Sebastian Robertson, yes, that Robertson.
Happy 50th anniversary!

Hey Dennis, Thanks for adding the links. I grew up in PA. Mom was from Easton, Dad from Bangor, and other Kin from Nazereth and others I can't think of off the top of my head. Being from the burbs of Philly, we just called it Upstate. Thanks again.

Small world.
I guess you can really feel the opening line of The Weight when they sing "I pulled into Nazareth...". I think of that song every time I drive in that area.
Darned covid. I haven't pulled into Nazareth since January, of course we stopped in the Martin factory to try out the new guitar models. 2020, who'd a thunk?
