Hi all! My husband passed away in 2017 and he has a Bobby Wolfe dobro. Mahogany with the 3 port holes on each side. Absolutely beautiful and the sound is amazing. I don’t remember what year he purchased it from Mr Wolfe but I am thinking about selling it. I would love for it to be played vs laying in a case.
It is in mint condition as he only played it 2 times.
I don’t know what it’s worth.
He also has a “Dobro” brand dobro.
Can someone point me in the right direction to see what they’re worth.
I have several other instruments, not dobro so i would also be interested in selling.

Gruhn Guitars ( guitars.com ) has a online appraisal service where you send photos' of your instrument and they appraise based on that. They charge $75 for the service but they are very knowledgeable about instrument values. I have used the service a few times and been pleased with the results.

Photos will help, especially for the Dobro-brand, as that could be any era. My guess is the Wolfe would be worth around $2500.00. Others here may be able to zero that in more accurately for you....

Gruhn Guitars has a Wolfe resonator guitar and a Dobro for sale. Keep in mind that Gruhn is a dealer, and his prices will be somewhat higher than a sale between individuals.
