We've finally got our new wide band thumb picks into production and available online at landispicks.com

We've had three other styles available for awhile but those were designed more with banjo and steel guitar in mind. This one was created specifically for Dobro and will also make a nice guitar pick. The wide band is lined with our Patent Pending gripper teeth that really work to keep them from slipping even when picking hard. The tone of the soft, thick silver is unlike any other metal thumb picks on the market that can tend to sound too metallic or brittle.

I’ve been considering trying these for a while now. I think my brother recently ordered a set for his banjos. My Sammy Shelors sound and feel great but slip around a lot. Are the gripper teeth on your finger picks uncomfortable on the sides of your fingers, especially while playing for several hours at a time?

Most people find them more comfortable because you don't have to put them on so tight. The most sensitive part of your fingers and thumb is the area between the nail and the knuckle. I leave them smooth in that area on the new models.

Try them out and if they don't work for you, just return them for full refund.
