I acquired this Beard Decophonic Square Neck a couple weeks ago, but find no references to it. It is as-new, plays well (although I lean towards my old OM! Dobro...probably because its an 'old friend').

Which model Deco Phonic? There are three in the spider bridge category: the 27 and 37 have the smaller body, the 57 is the larger body like the Beard E Model.

Those Deco Phonics can sound incredible when properly set up- probably better than any OMI Dobro. I guess I'd also like to know which model you have...

John and I had a couple email exchanges, and with the help of Denny at Beard it turns out that his recent acquisition is a Deco Phonic Model 37.
