I am looking for replacement tuners for my 1934 Dobro Model 27 #8360 (which, by the way is listed in the classifieds). It has original tuners and they are as stiff as Grandma's rheumatiz medicine. Several people are interested, but I want to make it play great if I am to send it to a new home. Also looking for a hardshell case for the same, a 14-fret square neck. Any suggestions! Thank you!!

Likely the most popular are Golden Age Restoration tuners from Stewart-MacDonald. There is quite a variety, make sure you check with them and describe your guitar, including measurements in the tuner area so that you get it right the first time.

See comments in an earlier post regarding the two different shaft sizes (0.236 and 0.248) for slot head tuners.
