Help! I'm searching the planet for a maple insert for my tricone T-bridge. No ebony cap, just maple. I've tried all the usual reso suppliers to no avail.
Anyone know where I could find a blank, preferably unslotted?

Tony....wish I knew that when I sent you a box of stuff!! I have a few. Try Beard, Elderly, Banjo Ben Clark.  Oh....and of course, National in San Luis Obispo.

Eric.

Thanks for the suggestions, Eric. I've already tried the first three, but I didn't think of National.

Email on it's way to them.

Fingers crossed. PS Still enjoying my cone upgrade!

I usually just make one on the table saw and disc sander. Do you have a luthier or even a woodworker or cabinet shop nearby? They'll have some scrap maple they can fit to the T-bridge slot in no time. Even the premade ones take some adjustment of the thickness.

Thanks, but Philip (Badger) kindly sent me some maple blanks, problem solved. Appreciate your suggestion though.
