Has anyone tried the Perfect Touch finger and or thumb picks and if so your opinion? If so, do you have the flat or rounds finger picks?

I've used the Perfect Touch fingerpicks for over a year, have the pair with the flat blades, love them. I can play all day, no pain, no slipping. Haven't tried the thumb pick.

I've got the rounded finger picks from Perfect Touch. I like them. They are comfortable and don't fly off while I'm playing. Haven't tried the thumb pick.

I use the Fred Kelly's Thumb picks, and love them! VERY comfortable. I use the white...but the steel Dunlop fingerpicks are just about unusable for any length of time, because my skin and cuticles are usually dry and cracked, because I work with lots of steel, tools, and thereby...solvents and strong hand soaps. I looked at the Perfect Touch finger picks online, but can't see that they'd be much of an improvement...and they are rather pricey for just guessin'!

Rusty Thornhill has a money back guarantee on his Perfect Touch fingerpicks, if they don't work for you for whatever reason just return for a refund. For pickers who have a hard time with standard wrap picks, the Perfect Touch and the Acri picks are the only alternatives I am aware of.

I have flat faced Perfect Touch's, love them, well worth the extra dollars. Have long forgotten that they were $30. Elderly sells them for $26.95. Money back guarantee with Elderly as well.

I picked them up last year at steel show in St Louis. Got my brother a set too. He plays steel. We both love them. Very comfortable. Other picks always hurt my cuticles and fingers these are great.

I have two problems with um.

One is the picking tip bends to easily. They do not hold their shape at all. I'm always bending them back out. I use the flat picks and don't like the rounded picks.

Two is I just can't keep them on. When I use them I cannot get them tight enough to stay on. I pick a string, and the pick "flops" on the end of the finger, and that's with the bands as tight as I can get them. If the material they're made of was of a different "stiffness" this problem would most likely cured.

So I back on the Little Roy Lewis banjo picks.

I bought the rounded ones, and they are a bit better than the Dunlops I have always used. They fit above my cuticles, so the comfort factor is way up! They are taking some "getting used to" because they are...well...different, so that's not un-expected. The metal does seem more mallable than the Dunlops, so they are easier to adjust for fit.

I keep thinking the ideal finger picks would be like ladies glue-on fingernails, but glued on the "print" side of the finger with some adhesive the peeled off clean.
