I ended up with this and a unbadged case a few years ago. I know little about these things, but am getting it ready to sell. I seem to remember the family that sold it said it was about ten years old when I bought it 3 years ago. What they do not have model #s on them is puzzling. It has grover machine heads, maple (ply?) body binding.

It's likely a Gibson-built F-60, made in 2010 or slightly earlier based on what the family told you in terms of age. Gibson stopped making Dobros in Nashville at some point in 2010 when the massive flood on the Cumberland River shut down their operation at Opry Mills. They never reopened, and all Dobro brand guitars were produced in China after that.
The D refers to wood body. Why they even bothered to differentiate, I have no idea. When they shut down the Dobro facility in Southern California in 1997 after purchasing the brand in 1993 and moved production to Nashville, they stopped making any metal body guitars when production was resumed - they were all wood bodies.

F60 does not seem to match up with this one, but it is close. It is squareneck and has a real decal, not a burned in thing. ! This is what I seemed to remember from my previous post. Thanks for this. It is in not so good shape, and was treated rough the last 12 years.

Thanks! It IS an F60, but apparently way earlier. I found a reverb listing for this exact model, but the 2001 listed is later than mine.
