I just recieved my new custom built reso yesterday, its unbelivable. Tony Langley of Appalachian Guitars LLC is a master luthier/craftsman. He created my dream guitar! It not only looks great but it sounds phenomenal. He sent update pictures during the build so I could see the progress and the quality of wood, inlay, etc..Thanks again Tony, your a nice guy and so easy to deal with. I HIGHLY recommend that if you are in the market for a new guitar to contact him. Check out his website and see some of his amazing guitars. (appalachianguitars.com)

Very nice indeed! My Appy was built by Tom in 2018. Not a fancy one except for the D-35 inspired back. Tony is really doing a great job with his without ignoring the legacy of the brand.

Nice! That is what i like about Appy's, each one is a little different in some way making them unique.

Spectacular looking guitar William and yours is a beauty as well Frederick!
Tony really has a way with the aesthetics after learning the nuts and bolts of building from the late Tom Warner. I haven't see or heard one of his guitars in person here in NorCal, I sure would like to check them out up close and personal.

Thanks Mark. In my 35 years of playing its the finest looking and sounding instrument I've ever played. Its a real banjo killer and I couldn't be prouder or happier to own it.

Welcome aboard. And continuing thanks to all of you out there. I'd never seen or heard an Appalachian, but ordered one from Tom way back in October 2010 based solely on Reso Hangout comments. Still proud, and still happy...

I have a 2016 Tom built Appalachian African mahogany and cedar. It's the one in my avatar. It's a really nice sounding guitar.

I just acquired a Tom Warner built Appy from April 2014, # 140 something. It is an all curly maple build. Really good shape overall but with some finish checking for extra character. Sounds really nice and my rudimentary playing can't do it justice but I am hoping to learn. I know, practice, practice, practice!
