Hello,
On my iPhone, I can log on with my new account and password. On my iPad, my account gets locked out. I am checking Safari versions. This is bizarre.

I'm not sure if this applies to the issue you're having, you may or may not realize that as of March 27 you need to use your email to log in. Check out the following post from webmaster Eric:

Thank you Mark for this reply. Yes, I use my email address to log on. If I use the same account on the iPad, the password is not accepted.

My version is a 2012 model. My iPhone is 2008. This means something changed in the certificates. Time for WireShark.

Did you ever get this figured out?
When you titled the thread, "New iPad Updates," I thought at first you were referring to a new machine, not one from 2012.
I bought one for my wife about 10-11 years ago, but the thing barely functions these days. I need to research to see if it's worth trying to pulll a Lazarus in an attempt to bring it back from being (almost) dead.
