I'm looking for a smaller size resonator as my first resonator purchase. Looking in the under $1000 range. I'm considering the Highway 61 Woody from Republic or the Recording King Rattlesnake. Any thoughts would be appreciated, especially regarding build quality.

I have a Republic Highway 61 in brass, and a Republic Duolian in steel. I am very happy with them.
They are put together well and have strong voices. I would buy another Republic.
I haven't had experience with their wood bodies.
