I'm tempted by a Reso Hangout classified post from Japan, but fearful of unexpected taxes and duties when the guitar arrives in the states. Anyone here have experience/advice on buying guitars from our Japanese members?

More info needed. If the guitar was originally built in the U.S.A. there are no duties to return. The shipper must specify country of origin.
If made elsewhere you should be able to do a "google' search to get an idea of any tariffs on music instruments built overseas.
