Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself since I am new to the forum here. My name is Tony Polecastro and I work for Weber Mandolins and Guitars. I am a player (thank you Rob Anderlik) and hope to both use the forum as a learning tool for myself and an educational/informational tool for anyone with questions regarding our resonator guitars, where to try them, specs etc. etc Pretty much all of the minutia we all love and obsess over dearly. I look forward to meeting and learning from everyone.

Where are you located Brad?

I have been extremely happy with our resos. I just need more people to play them, and for those of you that have had a chance to play them... I would love to hear good honest feedback. We are always looking for suggestions to make them better, and none better than reso enthusiasts to give it.

I tried two different Webers at two different stores and while I really like the tone and the fit and finish is beautiful, the volume was not what I expected. I was able to A/B the one with a high end import and it was not as loud as the import.

Hi Tony, I just joined recently and was pleased to see Weber represented! I bought my Vigilante in March of 2006 in Bozeman. I'm in love with the sound of the instrument! While I agree that it could be a little louder I've had several comments on the rich tone! Keep up the good work. Also, Bruce and Mary(I hope I got her name right!) gave me a tour of the factory in Logan last fall. I was impressed with what you guys do. Keep it up.
