Ok . Several years ago I saw an add from Tim Scheerhorn showing an Attachment/Stand that sat on your lap and lifted the guitar off of the knee.
He was also saying that he is making one for Weissenborn style Hawaiian guitars.
I can't find anything on them now and was hoping someone here knew something about them.
Thanks in advance !!
Barry

A video was linked in the old thread, Randy Kohrs playing as I recall one of only three tricones
Tim Scheerhorn built, and you can see the thing attached to the guitar at the 1:49 mark.
As far as getting one nowadays, Tim Scheerhorn has been retired for some time and I would find it unlikely that you could get one from him, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Hey Mark,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, that's the one I was remembering.
I haven't been able to find info on this anywhere and I have a Koa Weissenborn
that desperately needs one .
I guess I'll try and fabricate one using the images on the Randy Kohrs video.
Again, Thanks for the info.
