The rubber sleeve on my Scheerhorn capo is on its last legs. National doesn't have them. They said to ask Elderly, but they don't either.
Have any suggestions on where I can find a new sleeve that fits? It looks like this.
Thanks!

I replaced the rubber on my Leno capo, which is similar, with 3/16" ID surgical tubing from Amazon. About 4' for under $8.00. Works great and I have enough to last a lifetime...LOL.

Charlie: I don’t use my capo very often and I think that I have a considerable length of that tubing. If so, I would be happy to send you some if you PM me your address. While you’re waiting, usually you can rotate the tubing around so the better side rests on the strings.

I use a Leno capo occasionally and when the rubber sleeve gets bad, I just remove it and turn it over and put it back on the capo. Goos for another few years.. FYI...

Yeah, I tried that, but it's too brittle to budge. When I have a replacement, I'll have to cut off the old sleeve.

Charlie, When my Scheerhorn capo rubber went bad I went to the autoparts store and got a foot of gas line hose. works well and it's nearly indestructable. When I asked for 6" he gave it to me.
