I’m assuming that anyone who ordered one of the ST bars from Rob’s site has now received it, since I am in Canada and now have mine. We won’t get into the fact that, after exchange on Cdn dollars, postage and customs fees (really!!!), I likely could have bought a new dobro for what I spent. What is the verdict on these? I’m finding it has very good tone, and is a little easier for me to manoeuvre with my girl hands than my Charlie’s (which I still love, by the way). It will be nice to use on tunes with slants and faster tunes.

I haven't ordered one yet, because along with several other bars I have fairly new Tipton (one of the last of Ron's) bars along with an Elmer Bradley bar in excellent shape which is very close to the shape of the Tipton.
That aside, I am mainly replying because if one has "girl hands," then I would think Charlie's bar isn't a great choice - it's pretty much the beefiest "grooved" dobro bar out there.

I'm still waiting to order. Rob's site says they are still out of stock.
