Hello

I have a Fishman Nashville saddle pickup installed on my 1937 square neck Dobro brand resonator. I play seated and go into a JD Aura . The Aura is too far away for quick volume adjustment.. Sitting closer puts me in the mic stands. The last few gigs I incorporated a plug and play device for easier volume control . From this device I go into the JD Aura and on to the mixer. Now, with this device, i have onboard volume control at the guitar. This device uses a CR2032 button battery. I leave the device plugged into the 1/4" out of the resonator and, when not in use, always unplug the instrument cable from the device. .I suspect the instrument cable, plugged in, puts a load on the devices battery. The device has EQ but I leave these out of the signal.

"It's not love but it's not bad" apologies' to Merle Haggard

Brand: Keenso

See attached and see below

It is advertised as a "Pickup Power Amplifier High Bass Volume Control Impedance Matching for Acoustic Guitar"

"Passive"? What's the battery for?

I'm not Resojim , but my guess is that he meant :

Battery powered active volume control , that is used in conjunction with a Passive Pickup .
