A couple of us Canadian boys toured in the US last years and were able to do a bit of a filming session with PBS in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We shot this in a beautiful Kentucky horse barn, freezing cold (even for Canadians). It's been great to play with Zachary over the years, listen more, and fit the dobro in to something that's not strictly bluegrass.

Very good work, Miles. The more sparce the canvas, the harder to “fit” imo. Crafting something tasty without overplaying is a great challenge. Nice!

Indeed! Zachary's D18 is also tonally pretty close to my dobro as well, so it's been an exercise in restraint and elimination.

Nice job! I echo what Brian said. I like how you left space for the vocalist/guitarist, then started unleashing more fills around 3:31 as song crescendos. Excellent dynamics and very tasteful playing...thanks for sharing.
