I've owned this Republic guitar for a long time. Unfortunately, it took a bit of a battering from the kids. I need to change the cone, biscuit and bridge, and get new tuners. Would any of you know which make and who would sell the right parts for it?

Using the "search" in the left will get you more on this than you'll ever need, but in a nutshell:
Beard & National have parts, many music store websites like Elderly Instruments do also. Different folks make cones; my own preference is National for biscuit. Also, I don't recall who carries them (maybe everyone?) but I'd recommend getting a biscuit with the bridge not yet glued in; it's a lot easier to trim & file to get the action right. And order an extra bridge or 2 in case you don't get it right. (Hmmmm....how did I know that?.....)

Mike Replogle here in Northern California is another supplier who has everything you need except for the tuners, though it shows right now that the cones are out of stock. I'm sure an email or phone call would be worth it to find out when the cones are back in.
After Gibson bought Dobro in 1993, Mike was appointed to run the company in Southern California. They decided to pull the plug at some point in 1997 and transferred Gibson to Nashville where production resumed in 1998. Mike declined the move to Tennessee. He ahs supplied reso builders and players with parts for many years.
