I was in a store and saw a dobro-style knockoff with the "Richmond" brand on the headstock. Looked to be decently made. Anyone familiar with that brand?
Pretty sure it's not one of those Dobro Richmond models; there was no Dobro branding anywhere on it, just "Richmond".

I vaguely recall seeing one use in a shop a bunch of years ago. What were they asking for it in the store you visited?
Link below to Richmond flattops, an inexpensive brand originating in Japan and later in Korea. Does the logo look similar to the resonator you saw?
If it were a Dobro 'Richmond' model it would have a Dobro logo on the headstock. These were Dobros built in the mid to late 1960s when Dobro was owned by Mosrite here in California.

Mark, the guitar I saw was not yet offered for sale so I don't know what their price would have been.
The logo did look similar to the one on that jedistar page. I knew about that guitar brand but I have been unable to find any mention anywhere of of a resophonic made by them. Mystery knockoff!
