I was knockng around the internet a few weeks ago as I was researching reso's. I came across a company that sold parts and one that I thought looked amazing was a cover plate that was cut to look like the sun. It had this trick look rays coming out of the center to the edges. Does anybody know where I can find this? I've been searching for days and cannot find it. I know it exists because I showed my wife it and she remembers seeing it as well.
Thanks,
JD

Howard,
Are any of those "special" ones available for purchase separately?
Or do I have to buy a really expensive one that comes with a free guitar LOL?
I have looked everywhere for a Poinsettia cover plate and have come up empty handed?

The Poinsettia is now a "standard" plate, available to all. The problem is we are out of them and it'll be at least 30days before I see any.
The bottom four have to be attached to a Beard Guitar. (Not a Gold Tone) :-)

Right on!!!!!
I really like the Radio, very cool, looks like it should have come out in the 1940s.
I understand the different finishes but is the base metal brass on the dobro style plates?
Thanks Howard!

Yes...As is the "traditional" Fan and Lyre designs.

Howard -- does the poinsettia cover produce more volume than the fan plates?
Thanks

Anecdotally...I wouldn't think so. Both the fan and poinsettia have been around almost since the beginning of dobro time.

Those are all great looking coverplates. Add one of those attached to a Beard to my "one of these days" lists. :)
